AGG2983, CVD Diamond Slot Grid 2x1mm

Diamond grids are made of pure synthetic diamond, and are used with heat sensitive samples. These grids offer exceptional performance for ion milling, ensuring heat is rapidly carried away from the specimen due to their very high thermal conductivity (four times higher than copper) and resistance to the milling process. 
Diamond grids are also highly suited to analytical TEM studies, due to their very low Bremsstrahlung background radiation levels. They offer comparable performance to beryllium grids without the associated safety and toxicity issues. 3mm diameter, approximately 40µm thick. Individually packed.
