These sterile retractable disposable scalpels are designed for single patient use and have been introduced with Sharps Safety compliance in mind.

• No 3 size handle
• Colour coded for ease of blade shape recognition
• 10, 11P, 15 blades and stitch cutter
• Strengthened temporary lock in the forward position so that the blade will stay extended even if it encounters a hard surface during use
• The slider mechanism contains a notch in the retracted position that holds the blade more securely in the passing/retracted position
• A permanent lock position has been added to the retracted position - this requires a conscious amount of force to engage

The scalpels are supplied in packs of 25 with each scalpel individually packed in a single peel sterile packet.
