ABOUT THIS PRODUCT:

This information is stored in various DNA sequence databases which can be readily accessed via the internet. In this experiment, students read autoradiographs containing DNA sequences which represent segments of important cellular genes. Using bioinformatics databases, students compare and extrapolate database information and identify the gene product.
