Rapid-Core is a multi-purpose sampling tool, designed with a retractable cutting cannula. It features easy operation, is safe to use, and is fast and precise. The body of the tool is made from polypropylene (PP) and the cutting tip from stainless steel 304 (SS304). The Rapid-Core razor-sharp stainless steel cutting tip is designed to cut, retrieve and store cored samples from source materials such as skin, tissue, gels, paper, cloth, leaves, paint chips, films or other thin, soft substrates. The Rapid-Core is recommended as a special DNA sampling tool and is ideal for forensic and laboratory sampling purposes. Each Rapid-Core Punch is ethylene oxide sterilised in a self-sealing sterilisation pouch. This product will not withstand steam sterilisation in an autoclave.
