Utilizing a unique manufacturing process, Genaxy Scientific has developed an innovative series of pipette tips that feature ultra smooth surfaces. Genaxy Filter Barrier Tips blocks aerosol by coalescing radioactive, chemicals, or biological contaminats before they can come in contact with pipettor shaft. This effectively eliminates unwanted signals induced by residual RNA/DNA transferred in trace amounts by aerosol cross contamination. They also act as a safety barrier against accidental over pipetting of fluids without risk of sample lock-up.

Genaxy also offers extra long tips. Extra long tips (1250XL) are used for 15 ml and 50 ml centrifuge tubes primarily for practical and ergonomic reasons, as well as to ensure accurate and efficient sample handling. These are useful as:

• reaches to the bottom of the tubes
• minimize contamination
• more efficient and faster pipetting since you can access the entire sample volume in one go
• more convenient and ergonomic to work with when handling 15 ml and 50 ml centrifuge tube
• reduces sample loss
